Lol it's not slow you just have to have the expectation that is gonna take 3 weeks to get to you,

He he just kidding they are slow, order them then forget about what you ordered, and have a surprise when the posty knocks on the door.

Hey there RC-Help fans. I just wanted to share a little bit more about me and how I got interested in RC Flight.
I am a Metrologist by trade, performing calibrations and field service for the past 30 years. For those not in the know, Metrology is the science of measurement. I have had the pleasure of being subcontracted to this place for the past 8 years, http://woodward.com/airframeflightcontrols.aspx
I get to work with the engineers who are designing and testing a huge array of actuators and control systems.
One of the coolest projects I have had the opportunity to work on was for the SOFIA project, http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/SOFIA/index.html#.UjG0-n9Tbys
The company hear makes the motors/gearing and control electronics to open and close the bay doors that expose the telescope. The motor drive system test fixture contains two 20,0000 In-Lb torque sensors. I perform the calibration on those sensors.
Many cool things happen here, I even saw 4 astronauts walk through as they were witnessing the manufacture of hand tools used on the space station.
Now, getting into RC flight, I see a lot of 1:1 scale controls and actuators. They look a bit different than the Transmitters and servos we use, but actually just the same. Kinda cool to see the insides and understand the whole concept of Fly by Wire.
Not to often you get a job that actually excites you and challenges your brain and time management all at the same time. I hardly ever call it work.
But it is calling me now. Peace my friends.

Thank goodness it nearly time to go home, I think I could fall asleep on the edge of a wet newspaper, lol. Never mind only an hour and a bit of traveling to get home, then relax for the evening, may even get a bit of sim time in later if I am lucky

this is going to be such a long day... Got woke up at about 0400 this morning due to a sick dog. Why can't this be Friday?

I would have a house already if I wanted to live in the getto... lol. Kinda hard to find one when you want to be in a good area.
