I was introduced to this little airplane from ParticleMan over on YouTube. I saw him flying it and I knew that I needed it. I love the Edge platform, in fact, I own 2 Balsa models of the Edge 540 and love flying them. Even though this plane has more of an MXS nose on it, it still looks like an Edge 540 with the wing profile. So I put in an order with Banggood and ordered the plane. You can check out the model at the link below. US$92.68 42% XK A430 2.4G 5CH 3D6G System Brushless RC Airplane...
In this video we go through and set up the suspension on the truck. This includes Ride Height, Camber and Toe In. Caster is where the manual told us to put it and is adjusted via the clips in the upper control arms.

You know we are getting close when we install the engine into the chassis and set the gear mesh. In this video, not only do we install the engine and set the mesh, but we also replace that metal spur gear with a plastic spur gear, replace the clutch bell that the metal spur chewed up, but we also installed the fuel tank and plumbed in all of the fuel line and installed the muffler. It's getting closer! Parts Used In This Video 4120 Clutch Bell https://amzn.to/2KVEAEU 4611 Clutch Bell...
It's time to install the servos on the Goblin 380! We already did this in a live stream, but I'm not going to make everyone sit through over 10 hours of video just to see me install some servos. We we are redoing everything on this helicopter and going step by step. let me know if you have any suggestions for future videos.
FINALLY!!! All of the parts are clean and it is time to start putting things back In the last series, I had multiple people ask if I could show more detail, and that is exactly what I do in this video. If you want to make your life just a little bit easier, use a servo tester to center your servos before you install them into your helicopter. On the Goblin 380, you can't get the arms off once you install them into the helicopter. You can do this with the gyro, but doing it this way is just a little faster IMO and helps save some time in the setup process. If you want to learn how to rebuild an absolutely filthy carburetor off of a Traxxas 2.5 or 3.3, this video is for you.
I put this off for this long for a reason. I was dreading what I would find inside this engine and in this video... well I will let the video show you...

Suspension setup is one of the most important things you can do to have a predictable vehicle. In this video, I show you, in depth, how I clean and adjust the suspension arms to get them ready to install back on the chassis. I also include a quick little setup tip to save yourself time in the future. I knew there was something wrong with this diff as soon as I turned it in the teardown video. I have had this happen before so I went ahead and picked up a new kit to rebuild it.
This is an in depth video of the Rear Diff Rebuild so it is a little longer than my usual videos. Since the diff rebuilds were so long, I broke them up into two separate videos.
