I wish I could do the sit around stuff. It's windy as hell here right now after this cold front and has been for quite a few days. So no flying. But I do need to do my taxes (ugh), shoot some video on the Goblin, shoot video on the tmaxx, start on the airplane, do some quad stuff, setup my backup server, pull files from the current backup server, find out why my server is running such high cpu and figure out how to get it back down (trial and error thing with zoneminder), and the list goes on and on. Oh, need to till the garden, but before that I have to pull up the drip tape, dig up the 3 onions that came back from last year, and mow down the weeds that grew up. I also have to till my corn plot, mow the yard which is horribly over grown right now, fix my car, clean up my yard.... Okay, I will stop there, you get the idea. And that is only about 5% of what I have to get done NOW!!! 
It's no wonder I drink at night to go to sleep lmao.

I have garden stuff to do, fix my car (both control arms, entire front breaks, oil change, passenger door handle, exhaust system, tires and drive shaft), go to down town Cleveland and fix some pay stuff that is not related to my non pay check, finish a lizard enclosure, finish a 2 year old bathroom remodel. My taxes are done and back to me. So in have a bunch of stuff too. Screw it lets just hobby.

Zoneminder stuff...
Your a bit limited on what you can do to help with the older xeon processor's you are having to use. The newer xeon's now have hardware encoding for video but those older ones don't making ZM use software encoding instead.
Robert said to start by listing your processes ( top command ? ) and watch what each camera is doing. I believe their processes are listed as the names of the camera you setup in ZM. Then play with each camera's settings like framerates, resolution, color/bw etc. Once you've tweaked each one as well as you can, then make certain to set the framerate that ZM to the same or higher framerate than what the camera is actually set at. Setting them to black and white will also help a lot and often can get a sharper looking image but of course you loose the color which may be important as well. If you can set zones within the frame of the video in ZM, it then doesn't have to look at the whole image to look for movements etc.
He said most of those suggestions are in the basic documentation but there is also a lot of good tips and info to be found in the ZM forums that you may also find useful.

Your right Randy, I'm just going to turn the server off and put it out in the shed. It's too old to really do anything worthwhile.
So just shot an hour long video and watched it back and the audio is absolute crap. Plug was not pushed in all the way and the video is fuzzy because my camera sucks. I guess videos are going to be put on hold for a while until I can find a new camera that actually gives a good picture... I tried, but next weeks T-Maxx video will be the last for a while. No money at the moment to replace the camera. Or the server for that matter....

Are there any film guru's out there? If so, answer me this. Is it possible to get a BETTER image on a digital camcorder with warm light vs cool light? I have shot in cool like for quite a while, but when I started noticing these issues with my camera, I started shooting inside and with cool light (more blue than yellow). But out in the studio, I had two big warm white (more yellow) lights facing me at all times. I'm wondering if this could be why things changed all of a sudden.

Yes and no. I personally like to white balance before I shoot. Not all cameras can adjust there white balance. My Nikon has the ability to adjust white balance.
For best results in final quality you should achieve the best results possible in the camera. The less post you do the better the quality in the end. That's for photography.
Video I still try and achieve as close to white as possible and roll with that. With the runcam 2 its limited in white balance. I usually end up manually choosing something that's not auto.
I will say that with the non destructive post processing available its less of an issue. But I still try like heck to get what I want before I shoot. Makes post a lot faster.

I can adjust white balance as well on the camera, but the coloration of the video is not the issue. My video is blurry. If you take a look at the video below, you will see what I'm talking about. It's not the worst that it has been, that was today when I just gave up and eventually went outside and played on the tractor to keep from drinking at noon lol. But, I just brought in my studio lights from the old studio and initial impressions are that the image is better. I guess i need to just setup a video shot like I was trying to shoot and see what comes of it.
And I have yet to try any post processing of the fuzzy video. I know I can make it look better, DaVinci is an absolutely awesome video editor that can do almost anything you want it to do...

So I have just spent over 2 hours trying to get my wheel to work with Assetto Corsa and nothing is working. I really hope tomorrow is a better day where I don't break everything I touch.
And yes, I did break my tractor. Well, actually it was my tiller... I somehow found a spool of bailing wire that I have not hit in the 5+ years I have been here in the exact same garden that I ALWAYS TILL!!!! Why did I have to find it TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just one of those days I guess...
