Jim, If you mean that you have throttle hold available, but it only slows and doesn't stop the motor, then the ESC throttle range needs to be calibrated.

Yes, I normally make my own harness up to go from the battery connector into dual JR servo plugs. If it's a flybarless heli the servo plugs would connect to spare ports on the FBL. For a flyber heli any two spare ports on the Rx.

Go into the 'System Setup' menu and scroll down to 'F-Mode Setup' In there you you can set which switch you want to use for Hold. It's probably at 'Inhibit' right now which removes Hold from the flight mode selection. Just set it to the switch that you want to use and that will make Hold available.

The AR7000 has a built in failsafe, so you dont need to set anything in the FBL. The AR7000 will failsafe to the stick positions used when you did the bind to the Tx. So just make sure that when you bind the sticks are centred and the throttle is closed.

That could be a problem. To power the servos of a 2S LiPo they must be HV servos (capable of 8.4V operation). Standard servos are only good for around 6V or so and would probably be damaged by a 2S LiPo. If you have regular servos you could use a 2S LiFe which is lower voltage than a LiPo, or...

The little batteries for the 180 will have IR greater than 10 mOhm even when new. IR varies according to battery size (smaller batteries have higher IR) so you cant apply a one size fits all acceptance criteria.. Also different chargers read very different IR values even on the same battery...
