have you gone through the the online guide: Spektrum Integration - Spirit System Manual Particularly, you need to select 'ESC' and 'Text gen' in the Tx telemetry menu. You also need the latest Spektrum Airware for the integration functionality.

Did you bind the SPM4649T using a bind plug?

Ahh.. sorry, must be me miss-reading your post. I've never tried CCW rotation so was just going by what my buddy told me. To be honest his heli had been crashed a few times and was in need of some considerable TLC, so the odd flying characteristics may have been nothing to do with the CCW rotation!

In practice i dont think you will notice any significant difference from the trailing arms, you just have to remember during setup that 'swash up = pitch down'. You may notice the effects of CCW rotation more.. What about the one way bearing drive direction? Assume this can be easily reversed...

Fair enough Tony but personally I dont see the point of a normal mode curve on an electric heli, beginner or pro. Each to their own of course, it would be a boring world if we all had the same opinion!

FWIW my personal recommendation is never to use a 'normal mode' throttle curve. I just make all my throttle curves flat line 'idle up' type curves and the ESC in governor mode. On something like the Trex 800 I'd probably start with the throttle curves for my three flight modes set to 70%, 77%...

I know how frustrating this sort of thing can be. Maybe it is time to ditch the 3GX. Like Tony said, they are long in the tooth and always were 'fussy' at the best of times. All other modern FBL dont require any swash mixing in the Tx, it's all done in the FBL which makes things easier.

Yes, more new heli building required! Setting up stability/rescue is much easier with the latest firmware. You now have the ability to assign a dedicated channel to turn 'stabi' function on and off (this needs a spare channel so a 7 channel or better Tx). This is a lot easier than the old way...

In the Tx the throw of each swash servo can be adjusted using the 'AFR' function. For a 120 Deg swash the values should all be equal, maybe worth checking that they are?
