I saw a video on YouTube of someone trying to see how much lift a 700 can produce. Let me tell ya it was a lot. I think it was close to 4 + cinder blocks. I think that could pull a large mouth bass out easily.

Thinking about doing something that I said I would never do. But, our lives are changing, and we might as well change with it.

Trust me, it's not that special. If we do it, we will do it this weekend. And if so, I will have an update later this weekend.

Not wanting to Jack Derek's build thread, but still wanting to respond to Tony and Mike's "Don't try this at home" comment.
One of the pleasures of single life. No one Constantly telling me how foolish I am. I do not take offence of either or your comments. I still need the constant reminder.
I guess it all goes back to , ( or easily blamed on), an old proverb from Firesign Theatre. "Why did the short hair cross the road? Because someone told him to. Why did the longhair cross the road? Because someone told him Not to."
Back in my first year out of High School, I decided to rebuild the motor of my '80 Chevy Monza. Did I mention my folks were on vacation? Didi I mention it was in the family room on top of a Wine Cask table? And only a 5 day holiday for the folks.
Another time was painting a Lexan body while watching CNN during the Desert Storm affair. Yeah in the family room or the newlyweds new Townhome. while the Nurse was off at work. Awesome Navy blue with opalescent flakes for the Team Losi XXXT-CR. I loved that color for a long time. Did I mention I painted it while watching tv on the WHITE CARPET!!!
I thought nothing of it till I removed all the paper I placed down and saw the overspray managed to creap under the free flying paper. On All Four Sides!.
So Tony, I am no stranger to stupidity. Lucky enough for me, and I am knocking on the same Wine Cask table, I have survived all the situations I have managed to put myself into.
But now.... I have a 450 Heli, and I am quickly learning respect for the ones that know how to bite.
Just had to share that with you all.
As you were.....

haha, I just have to say it for the forum. There was once you let go and that prop got pretty close to your arm. Those things are like exacto knives spinning there. It's all good though.
