Here's some options from the KST range: Option 1 (standard range) Cyclics: DS589MG (Mini) Tail: DS525MG / BLS805x / BLS905X (full size) or DS565X (Mini) Option 2 (Contactless range) Cyclics: MS589 (Mini) Tail: MS805 / MS1035 (both full size), or MS565 / MS665 (both Mini) Option 3 (X series)...

Yes, the HW120A will be fine. I'm confused on the servos. the MS565 is a 760us tail servo, so not suitable for cyclic. The DS565MG would be fine for the tail but it's a standard size servo, not a mini.

Just the usual dealers: Align-Trex, Midland Helis and Hely-Shop I’ll put a plug in for my own shop: www.ScotiaRC.co.uk

    General T-rex 800 Battery Connection.

One way bearing slipping in it’s housing is not so unusual. If you install it with some green bearing retainer Loctite it will be fine

Yes, the XL520/550 is the lightest in its class by a fair margin.

Definitely mini size cyclic. i just checked and the spec still says mini, so it's not changed since I had mine. For the tail you can fit either mini or standard size, so you could stick with the 805X if you preferred. Most people do seem to use a full size on the tail though i used a mini and it...

Those cyclic servos wont work because the XLPower takes mini size cyclics. In the KST range DS589MG, X15-1208 or MS565 are all options. I put GDW servos on mine, GDW DS595MG which are great servos. I flew my 520 with batteries in the range 3700 to 5000mAh. I'd recommend 4500-5200mAh but make...

Normally a 12s is slightly more expensive because you need a HV ESC and two batteries

there is an new Xnova motor on eBay that would be perfect for a 12S setup, correct shaft for the Goblin: Xnova 4025-560KV 3Y Brushless Motor 6mm-28mm SHAFT B 850210321 | eBay

Yes, Scorpion are nice motors. Xnova and Egodrift are options to look at, though Xnova aren't cheap. I have a brand new sealed boxed Egodrift 4535 that would have potentially been ideal but at 60mm high it's probably a few mm too high for the 570, it might rub the canopy.

Quantum motors have been discontinued for a few years now, though they are a decent motor so worth considering if you can get a good deal on one. Cutting shafts is pretty easy so i wouldn't let that put you off. As for the rest, if it were me I'd consider a Spirit Pro FBL, a SPM4651t receiver...

The need for a BEC depends on your setup. Most ESC's these days have good built in BEC, so no external BEC needed. But if you have a nitro heli or an ESC with no BEC then you will need an Rx power supply of some sort, battery and/or BEC. As for programming, it depending on the type of Rx you...

    Hello From Hucknall, Uk

It sounds like you might get chance to fly at your club field from tomorrow due to the easing of lockdown rules in England:banana::banana::banana: Good luck with the maiden flight. Frustratingly the local government in Scotland (who always like to do things differently to England) have decided...

    Goblin 570 First Build

They are all just two 6S packs wired together in series. There are hardly any chargers that can charge a 12S pack, so no point manufacturers offering such a battery. You would usually charge the two packs in parallel as 6S packs (so a 6S capable charger will do the job) You can sometimes get...

I've not used Venom so cant really comment. I mainly Fly Revolectrix packs these days but they have to be imported from Singapore, which is a pain. Other guys in the USA might be better to advise on brands available locally. Surprisingly one brand that usually comes out top in independent...

    Goblin 570 First Build

To some extent. yes, the 12S setup will allow more headspeed without 'bogging' under load. Also in hard flying a single 6S pack could struggle to meet the load. A lot of hard 3D flyers report 'puffing' their batteries with a heli of the size of the 570 when flying on 6S. For more moderate flying...

    Goblin 570 First Build

That will be a killer setup. As for batteries......Is there a reason for going with 6S ? It is more convenient to run a single pack, but most people if putting together an high-end 'no compromises' build would go for 12S

For Kontronik motors the Pyro 650-620 (for 12S) or Pyro650-1030 (for 6S). I really like Kontronik motors, all made in Germany, the quality is top notch. On the Kontronik ESC range the new Kolibri is a good option. Kolibri 140HV-I (for 12S or 6S) is complete overkill but very nice. Alternatively...
