geez what an addictive hobby. while waiting on my skywalker to arrive i have been playing with a P-51 mustang, i know its not a learners plane but i have had it flying, i have even made it land when i wanted it to :) ofcourse it has spot landed a few times but the hot glue gun was on standby haha. pheonix flight sim has just arrived and thats pretty cool, the dx7s is working but i dont think all the channels are showing yet. its a nice day today, although a bit windy so im taking the sports bike for a blat. AND i just bought a AXN clouds fly trainer. although i want to fly FPV i know the video link will fail at times so i know i have to learn how to fly TPV which i am finding a heck of alot harder. i have played video games for years and flying FPV is very similar, only the crashes take more time and money :)

PHEW, 80 some odd threads and 2 hours and I am finally caught up. When did this minor time sink turn into a full time job to keep up with????

Isn't it great? I'm loving every minute of this forum. Oh, and with these new posts, you are not caught up yet hehe. For me, there were only 34 threads that had updates, but still, in less than 16 hours, that's still pretty good for a "little" forum like RCH hehe.

But, for me, the crap keeps hitting the fan. I need to just run away with the 600 and forget everything that is going on. Forget about the headaches with the cars, forget about the forum (for a minute anyway, well, 10 minutes until the fuel runs out of the tank then I will have to post a video lmao), forget about the base and work and just have some fun for once. I'm finding that little "fun" word very hard to come by here lately. And with all of the new programming on the aquarium, that's even more work. Not sure when it will end.

Oh, and now you guys are talking about wanting me to do shirts, hats and so on again. My plate is too big to fit in the microwave lmao.

Wow, I have not gotten on the forum this early in a long time and it's kickin' pretty good! I like it. Can't wait for the day that I'm on here during the day all the time.

Dude my new job is fun but has taken the fun out of my home time. Hence why im not on here much because it is so hard to keep up with everything lol. I almost have the raptor ready to go for spring but i just dont get it done. The fuel was finally ordered today.

It's amazing how flattening a couple of batteries learning to fly a heli recharges you own internal batteries.Makes you feel good when things are starting to come together, I can now hold it in a hover ( sort of...ha..ha )

Just another miserable night at the base... It always sucks when you know you can't do something, but try like hell to do it anyway just to fail at it... C'est la vie

These last few weeks have been ridiculous. Everything that could keep from flying happened. First weather, then work and poor timing. I did his ever managed 3 batteries over a 5 days. I got the heli in the air while my dad was here and I felt really twitchy with the wind. I got 2 batteries in on Saturday. Got home charged them and got ready for Sunday and then bam super windy day.

Yesterday I brought the bird to work in hopes of flying right after work and then my boss finally decided he was coming in at the end of the day. So that got ruined. Got it with me right now but its to dark out so maybe lunch time will be productive.

I was wondering why I haven't seen any Phoenix action on you - as I seem to recall you got a hold of the software months ago? Anyways, we gotta meet up when you get it all going :D

Well I am hoping to do the 600 maiden hover tomorrow at work right after I get off, that's the plan at least, will be chilly but as long as its dry its gonna be a go.
And after using my DX8 on the P4 sim it seems I have to start over, seemed fine with the Dx5e so I still have to mess with it I guess.
But plan to get on sometime tonight. Also have friends bugging me to get on Diablo3 so its a busy evening.

Download my files in the RealFlight sim sticky. The same heli and plane profiles for RF6.5 will work with Phoenix as well.

Well now I'm having a miserable night too. Broke down in south bend in. Might have to spend the night here. I'm coming down with a terrific cold. I'm cold. My nose won't stop running and I'm tired!
