05/19/13 Oklahoma Tornadoes

WOW! We've had a number of these storms in our area, the worst here was Plainfield in 1990, an F5 and Utica in 2004, an F3. Actually experienced 3 . . . in Chicago, Glen Ellyn, and here in Bolingbrook. Despite all the raunchy behavior you keep hearing in the news, it is times like these that you see the good come out of people, as everyone pitches in to help relieve the victims :)

Glad to hear that you guys on the forum are safe. Our prayers and support goes out the all those affected!

So far, there has been about $1,040,000 in donations for the victims. Not to mention all of the water and other things that people are donating. Massive help with this one. Sadly, there are still about 40 people still missing and presumed to still be in the school that took a direct hit.

Got storms building over the area again this morning. No tornadoes probably this time, but it's going to hamper the search and cleanup efforts.

The death toll has went down. Not sure how that happens lmao. I'm guessing confusion.

Hopefully no members here were hurt, buildings can be rebuilt.
I'm glad to see the known Oklahoma people here letting us know they are ok.
