You probably can without too much trouble :)

If you notice the long drill bits in the kits, the rods are placed throughout the foam like concrete rebar . . . through the fuselage length and in the wing foam. I would say that P51 into the concrete and the A10 nosing in at 60+ mph could be considered big crashes :) I agree the P38 is a beauty!

I never thought you could strengthen foam that much :)

Chris, my first start in this hobby (before electric motors) came to a halt 33 years ago, when kids started coming along, and life was getting busier. Got back in a little over 3 years ago (things are a lot cheaper now). So you just take whatever path is before, and if that leads back to flying...
