My helicopter fleet

Good morning Geena,
Nice pics by the way.
I have a couple of questions for you,
1) What are the (3) pics of the grass for? Is that a "hard" landing spot?
2) I hope the pics of the (3) damaged birds isn't one that you were flying.
Best regards, Robert

Hi Bassslayer. The photos of the grass, are from where my main blades dug in while doing inverted grass cutting during my noon demo flight at IRCHA. The damaged helicopter, is in fact the one I was flying at the time. The darker spot in the grass, are about 1.5 inches deep. I took it all the way to the dirt..lol. That`s what I get for flying too close to the planet, I guess. :D

The only damage, was both pitch links lost, one pitch arm bent, one broken servo horn, and a damaged swash plate. No damage to any of the blades, or the airframe. Gaui gave the parts to repair it, but I have not gotten around to doing the repairs yet.

Here is a photo of the pre-crop circle crash..:)

IRCHA was not just about doing demos...crashing my helicopters, and working in the Gaui booth. I also scored some cool stuffs while I was there. I got the new Scorpion Tribunus 200 ESC, and the newly released Scorpion HKII 4525-520 motor. I also got two brand new Fusuno canopies for my X7FZ. Brand new in the box...for $20.00 each.

Here are a few photos of them. :)

Thanks. :) These motors are so new, that I was able to get serial number 153. :D The ESC, is 200A, and over 60 grams lighter than the Hobbywing 160. Plus it has Jeti integration.

Hard work, dedication and lots and lots of practice. I try and fly every day, when I can. I have never been to Nall, but I want to get there one day. I generally use my vacation time for IRCHA, which means it`s hard for me to get to a lot of the other out of state events. Who knows though, I might get to make to Nall some day.

The museum is worth the trip, my sister got married there. I totally understand about getting time off. I been snowed in for several days now here in NC. Been doing some studying and tinkering with my radio and flying the DJI mavic pro. It’s awesome you try and fly everyday.
