Ohh, I'm ready. I've never been more ready. I'm like those dudes at the football game jumping around and slapping each other in the head kind of ready.

hahaha, it's some boring stuff reading that. I think that is why I was never able to do it. As for the Debian deal, that again, is some good news. I will see if I can get the stuff and we can start to make this happen.

I'm glad your happy to hear that. We will see if you feel the same way when I come hopping out of my truck and slap you up long side the head. :huepfenicon111::huepfenicon111::huepfenicon111:

Debian is Great base to start with. Do you have a desktop/widows manager mind? I have had my happy on Debian for about 4 months now, I have been using Lxde as my window manager.

Lxde is a super light manager that is really vanilla but looks nice and simple. If you have the resources I would stick with gnome and keep away from KDE unless you want to bog your system.

I hope everyone is out flying today. If it's anything like it is here, it's a perfect day to fly. 64ºF, and not a cloud in the sky with very light winds. Sadly, I will be looking for a house all weekend, so no flying for me... suck!!!

Nice thing once the system is setup just change the run level back to 3. Then the x server will not start and that will save the resources.

If you want a super fast system then look at arch Linux. That system is a complete custom build once the base system is installed.

As for flying nope. Daughters 10th birthday. Doing a cook out later. Happy flying everyone.

Unfortunately I'm working this weekend, so the only flying for me is about 20-25 minutes on the sim, before and after work. But...I'm eye balling a new addition to my collection, so I gotta do some work to be able to afford it, lol.

Take care everyone!!! Have a great weekend!

Happy 10th Birthday, to Matthias's daughter!!!
