It sucks too lol. I'm playing around with all of the settings in the 3GX and need to fly, and have not been able to for quite some time. Just fixed a tail issue, replaced the servos (Corona's will never be purchased by me again) and have the head perfectly set up. I'm itching man, I need my fix!!!

i'm just waiting for the time when the wife can take off my leash so I can head out and take the car to a track, or even have the time to finish working on the heli and try and get it flying again! Just never have the time, cos she doesn't drive i have to take her everywhere....
Frustrated majorly! Can't wait to just have some time to myself to have a bit of fun

Hahaha yeah that sucks!!
I'm at work all day, go home and still feel like I'm at work most nights.
Oh well...
Now that I have my little room set up, I'm going to go down there and start playing down there and getting my hobby stuff done.
Going to strip down some of the car to pull out more grass, and get it cleaned up again. Bit of crap through it, might try and see if I have an old bike tire laying around, and see if I can set something up to help stop the dirt, mud,grass etc ending up in the chasis. Just painful pulling it out of some of the hard to reach places, and from around the drive shafts

Check out usajobs.com (I think its .com or maybe .gov). Anyhow do a search on there after setting up an account. See what you find. These jobs are mostly GS level positions. Don't forget that the fed is on budget cuts so there may not be anything worth the effort unless it pays more.

We don't buy milk by the liter, we buy it by the gallon usually. And it's up to about $4 a gallon here in Oklahoma.

Ah ok cool.
I fell off my seat when I heard you guys talking about wages. I'm pretty sure that the amount the boys are talking about is lower than our minimum wage down here. It's no wonder no one wants to build anything here and they are screwing us over with manufacturing.
For the work that Tony is doing, I think you could easily be on $26 + an hour depending on skills and hours work. that doesn't include penalty rates etc.
General labouring job, I used to be on about $18/hr and then when I was in a factory doing the base bottom menial work, but doing night shift, and we were on $24/hr.
Mind you though we pay about $3 for a L of milk, diesel for my truck is $1.55/L normal unleaded petrol is about $1.45/L and if you want the high octane stuff, well its just stupidly expensive at the moment.
Mind you, for some of the items you guys purchase like computers, software and bunch of other items like these, we pay at least twice as much.
So it kinda evens itself out, but still just the difference is mind blowing to me

WHAT THE HELL!!! I just went to hobbypartz to look for new blades for the helicopter, and they don't have the blades they used to. Guess that company is about to go out of business. I mean, if they got rid of EXI, the blades and NEVER have ANYTHING in stock, either they are trying to close out, or they are HORRIBLE at business management. Ah well, I will take my business elsewhere.

Went into town today to drop off a couple of oxy and acetalene cylinders. While sorting out the paper work I spotted a couple of planes up on the shelf in the back of the shed and asked the bloke "who was into flying rc planes? " left there 2 hrs later after learning that there are 3 blokes within 20km of me that are into heli,s and planes and was invited to join them for a bit of a fly around and get together. Should be great fun having some one close by to fly with and talk too. One of them is a very good 3 d pilot apparently coming second in the world championships a few years ago. Should be good picking his brains and getting a few tips.

$20 brake job just turned into $600 worth of tires when I pulled them off and saw the belts showing on the inside. No toys for me anytime soon now.
