Back to the grind for me. I think the "Ice" theme is pretty close to being done.

The forum is running smoothly again, mostly. Still a couple little lingering quirks that I think has to do with a cache on a computer of the user, but it will work it's self out eventually.

Working on new plans for new videos. I think you guys and gals will like them.

maybe I will take a weekend off to "rest"...

I'm not sure. I have run less than a tank of fuel through this helicopter before we found the engine issues, and it has not been in the air since. I'm starting to think the RCH Heli was destined to be a very large paper weight. Sure looks good sitting in my living room.

My 450 will probably scare the living crap out of me on te first flight. I guess sacredness doesn't transfer to real life from the sim real well? I can inverted hover and blade scrape a Goblin 700 a few feet in front of me on RealFlight :D

The sound of those blades in front of you will be intimidating. I'm running a 0 50 75 75 75 throttle curve on my helicopter and let me tell you, it's STABLE! Going from normal to IU1 and IU2, there is almost do difference in sound. I can't hear the difference when I'm standing right there, but I can hear it on my videos. I shot one where I was just standing there flipping between the 3, and I didn't think it was doing anything, but on the video, you can hear the jump, just slightly.

I just finished putting the flight school into the How-To section here on the forum. I have also added a new part titled "Flying In Circles". I have also removed video #3 since I'm going to redo it and I have edited some of the other steps to make them a little easier to understand and to better explain the steps. Go have a look at it and follow along. I would be very interested in your progress as you start flying. Please post in each one as you are doing the steps. Er, not "as", but after hehe. Kinda hard to fly and type at the same time.

As for tapatalk, I had it on here once, but something with the program cut my revenue by more than 66%. The ads on the forum are what pay for the site, and when that happened, I had a hard time keeping this place going. So I removed it. However, I just received an email from them stating that they may have fixed the issues. I will do some reading and see how it goes. If I put it back on the forum, it will be on a trial basis ONLY and could be removed at any time.

We do have ForumRunner on here which is like tapatalk, but it's built into the forum software. Pretty smooth. I however, just use the full site on my phone. But, i have a Note II with a massive screen so it may be a little easier for me.

40 minutes to go and I'm outta here. One more day then my weekend starts. No flying though, winds 15-30 for at least the next 7 days... Sucks...

Got the Warp back together just to take it back apart and change the bent main shaft :banghead::damnit:

The 550 got its new ESC put in just got to go test it out

checked up on an order from HK ( Red and Green LEDs for the Disco ) they show my order as not paid and yet Pay Pal has it as paid. I have contacted HK but I've heard nothing back. Looks like I have just chucked $25 away, but heres hoping PayPal might cover it. Has anyone else had this happen?

Update.
well you would not believe it, while busy pecking out the above an email came through from HK apologising for the mistake and they are sending the bits out today..... Must have heard that I was having a grizzling session about them.lol

Andy, that did that crap with me on my batteries. I had to go to their site and click on the live chat, and she processed the order for me. Just another reason to NOT deal with them IMO lmao.
