im doing repairs so have not been on much

Went Flying today with a good mate in a Cesna 162 ... we did lots of curcuits aand touch and Go's .... even did a glide path landing !!!! was really busy too ... so I learnt a lot about traffic, landing patterns, speeds and altitudes .... was way better than the microsoft simulator .... but the same if you get what I mean. I loved it and learnt a lot ....
Even got to see a Military Huey come in an dland .. .and then take off and a Robby R22 come in to get some fuel .... oh how I wish i had of gone with him
ws funny on the last actual landing .... he made an error and we stalled it about 5 feet off the tarmac and landed pretty hard ...... I was laughing my head off !!!! he was gutted with himself as he has over 400 hours of flight time under his belt...... but we all make mistakes ....
Like when the control tower instructed us to touch and go on a runway and then the next radio call was control giving another aircraft the instruction to take off on that same runway...... we could not believe our ears !!! LMAO reminded me of Breaking BAd!

To continue on with my HK rant, I just checked in on a 25% Sbach and they want OVER $100 JUST TO SHIP IT!!! They have lost their mind. I can get the EXACT same plane from another supplier FOR THE SAME PRICE as they are asking, SHIPPED!!!!! The shipping from the other supplier is ONLY $25, which is about the going rate for a plane this size. Just another reason why HK is not getting my business. and yes, this is from the USA warehouse...

I know what you mean Tony. First off I was tied up last night waiting for this load to come out. My ten hour break was up at 2 pm. I finally git my load at 9 pm. Then when I got to Mi. All hell broke loose! Blinding snow storm! Zero visibility for about 50 miles! Finally got to a TS and collapsed for about 4 hours. Got up at 4 and drive to Port Huron mi. Looked at my log book and desided to take anougher break cause if I cross the bridge I'll run out if hours at 10 or so anyways. So I'll take anougher 4 hours off and get started fresh at 11.
Has far has shipping is concerned. I went to order some parts for my new bird from align in Taiwan. For about $50.00 worth of tail and anti rotation gears the wanted $150.00 to ship them! Hmmmm needles to say I found them somewhere eltz!!!

lmao, don't blame you there. This shipping thing is becoming a nightmare from everywhere. Pretty much, the LHS or the cheapest to ship website will be getting my business. Oh yeah, and who can ship things to me in LESS than 7 days. No, not 7 days to pack the crap, but 7 days from the time I get the order placed to when I have it in my hands. Simply amazing at how some of these "business'" treat their "customers".

Any questions, all you have to do is ask. And one of these days, we will get on the sim together. You may have read, but I have ordered RealFlight 6.5 and will spend most of my time on that one. Phoenix will more than likely sit until we setup a time to fly on it, but I won't use it to learn on. RF6.5 is just much better IMO. I will have to find my plane again and download it. I loved that plane.

yeah ..... I wanted to try out RF 6.5 but you cant use the thing without a code for the pack ... a dongle number and heli expansion code ..... I got every thing but the codes
You are right, the demo is rubbish. That is why I just purchase the ACTUAL program. I will never condone nor endorse piracy here on this site, or anywhere for that matter. I pay for what I have and I do not steal anything. Well, I didn't pay for the RCH Heli, but I didn't steal it either lmao. But, what I'm saying is, support those that put the time into creating these programs whether it be music, or a simulator with thousands if not millions of combined hours to create it. I like supporting good businesses, it's just who I am.
WALL ART?!?!?!?! OH NO SHE DIDN'T!!! LMAO. I hope you at least fly it once before hanging it up. Hell, my RCH trainer that you saw me building in the videos has seen the air once, and has hung upside down ever since. There is some bitchin' dihedral in that wing now hahaha.

murankar ; I'm retired & have two Granddaughters one is 4 years old one is seven! Wife still works at a Bank ! So on her day off we watch either one one both of the kids ! The wind shield area is badly creased, wings dont have dihedral cut but I managed to get the dihedral with lots of glue, the elevator is glued to far forward and the lower fuse panel is glued to far back.
I know i can do it batter the next time. I am excited to fly both planks and I should be ordering the electrics sometime next week. My goal is to get at least nine servos (Turnigy MG90se)
