I'm uncertain when the official season starts... but I do know we've already seen a TD that increased to a TS on the east coast and they are talking about a low system that may develop into something that will likely hit Florida later on... here are the tracks and projected tracks etc...

That's the one. With the water temp hanging around 90/95 degrees in the gulf of Mexico, that's plenty of warm water to feed that storm. Will end up mostly with lots of rain and winds.
