You will need to transfer the servo leads over to the new receiver. Aile to Aile, Elev to Elev etc.....
Set up a new model Heli in your DX8.
Name it what you want.
Set swashplate setting to 120º
All other setting leave stock until after the next stage.
Bind the RX to the radio.
Your servos arms will be centred already within there mechanical range.
What you will have to do, is go into the servo sub trim menu and adjust the sub trim of your cyclic servos one at a time to get the arms back to 90º.
If your original link adjustment were correct, this should bring your swash back to level.
Now set your gyro gain
in the DX8 it goes from -100% to 0% (Rate) to 0% to 100% (Head hold)
start at about 35% for head hold.
Set up your pitch and throttle curves and you should be good to go.
