Too much weight and momentum.
If you hit something or someone, damage will be done.
The smaller, cheaper and lighter V212 or similar is the answer if you want to fly one indoors in a hall or something.
If you want to fly in the house grab a nano.
I have this one and it's lots of fun.
Even my 5yo flys it ok.
Pay to get extra batteries though, it comes with 2 but 1 is for the TX.

When loaded with all your gear FVP,Camera and Video they get a little on the weighted side.
If you do a stripped down ver. nothing but the Flight controller and power system it could be closer to an indoor model.
But nothing like a light weight 929 quad.
