Tony,
Thank you again for all your help. You cannot imagine how enlighting it is to have a place to go for help for New commers (to Heli's that is).

Just getting my Dynam E-Razer going again after 5 years. Back then I had the TH9X and lost 1 heli after 50 foot out. Now, with an AWESOME tx, I am ready once again. No worries when I get out there... Whewww.... Not such a noob this time around because I have some experience under my belt. When I starting flying Heli when just learning, putting away all things RC to save money for a while, you tend to loose a lot what you "just" learned. I have more confidence this time around but still learning. Im sure I will pick things up quickly and already have. I had to put the training landing gear back on because I was too nervous. I basically have to teach myself all over again. On that note....

On a side note, I know Im not in the correct form for this topic:
I took my heli to work to mess with it on my lunch break... I noticed with the new radio system after plugging in the GYRO, the servo "twitches" back n forth... It did not do that on the old radio system. I am wondering if this is another issue with old electronics on new radio systems. When I get the speed up, the tail goes back n forth pretty fast, about 2 inches each way guessing. You can hear the air in the tail blades like the main blades on a hard maneuver. It is a possibility I will have to purchase a newer style GYRO for a flybar head system.

Okay, back to the DX8G2 settings:

Keep in mind Im still learning heli's and this radio...

Don't worry about the tail curve. It looks like your ready to go. I would like to see your normal throttle curve around 0 75 75 75 75 but only if your ESC can do a very slow startup. Not sure if yours can. If not, I would still suggest that curve, but be very light on the throttle when first spooling up.

As for the tail kick, that could be an older gyro issue. If you are running that stock Dynam gyro with the blue light (can't remember the number) then yes, that thing is horrible. I suggest getting a used Align gyro for the tail like the GP780

Okay on the radio setup... I'll try the throttle curve to see what happens... Any suggestions on how to "tone down" the settings? They are super touchy. I mean in the TX. If I have too will move all the control linkages on the control horns in. Or do you suggest getting use to it being touching, just be careful? I can fly it that way but Im a little nervous is all. Can get use to it like I did in the past.

Yeah I figured as much because of the ESC issue as well... I'll look into the GP780. I will need 2 of them. My crashed 450 heli has the same electronics. I figured if the Dynam E-Razer had it (thinking it was a good heli) then I'll purchase the same for the TRex clone 45o I have.

I think we all have had an E-Razor at one time or another lol. As for the twitchieness, go into your DR/Expo menu and set your DR to about 70% and set your expo to about +35%. Make sure that expo in the DX8 is in the positive numbers otherwise it will become even more twitchy.

I did research this online, I found adjusting the Gyro (delay) did the trick... I have no idea how or why but it worked. It was at 50, I tried an adjustment to 60. Problem solved... It was VERY windy yesterday but I tried it. OMG cannot believe I lost how to do "left in" and "right in" and "nose in"... Nose in is not so bad but the left and rights I need major work. I had all that in the past... I'll keep practicing... I have off work all this week with nice weather. will try to get some fly time in as much as I can. My wife will want to do things Im sure since it will be nice out... I'm charging batteries now :)

I'm heading to the simulator to practice Right over, Left hover and Nose in hover. I'd rather crash a computer sim than the real thing...

On a side note: I love how SMOOTH a heli flies after adjusting the head... It's a wonderful thang :) After it flies, will hang in on the wall to keep it. Then will work on my other T-Rex clone 45o...

Also, I would purchase a T-Rex but I cannot see spending that much... I will continue with 50.00 kits and my E-Razer. I also have an E-Sky HoneyBee King 2... I've started working it next. I know it's not much of a heli being all plastic and all... But I have parts to fix it now...

If you are having to run delay in the tail gyro, that usually means the tail servo is not fast enough.
