Wind sucks

I went out today to fly the blade 400 after doing some work on my house. It was calm all day, even walking out of the house. In the 30 seconds it took me to drive to a parking lot to setup and fly, the wind kicked up. I said screw it and put the heli up anyway since if you only fly on calm days in Oklahoma you only fly about 4 days a year. It was my first flight in months(been moving and getting the old house ready to sell) and it definitely showed. I took some video, but I was bouncing around so bad that the heli is out of frame more than not, so I decided not to go through the trouble of uploading. I still need to get a swash leveler, there was some drift I was having to fix with trim. Also need to get new tail blades now after smacking them into the pavement, noticed a chunk missing out of one. In the end it was nice to get back in the air. Hopefully tomorrow will cooperate and I can put it up again and start to get some of my skills polished back up.
