500 Why 7 Channels?

I was look'n around at other birds just to see what's new; at least for me, ha!

I noticed that the Align Trex 500 XT needs a 7 channel TX/RX; why?
She's a beauty!

For the governor so you can control the gain from your Tx.

On my DX8, what channel and switch would you recommend for that?

Channel for the governor is always 7, unless you are running a 3GX, and then only sometimes is governor on channel 7... As for switch, I put it on the top (front face) right switch with the long handle. just to the right of the little switch. But I only use it to test different governor gains on a test flight. Once you find a governor setting that works, you will never have to change it again unless you change something else.
