Video One GoPro on Hexacopter

A very short trial flight with the Gopro fitted to the underside of the Hexacopter battery plate, using only the Gopro sticky backed slide on mount, no anti vibration absorbent material used at all.

Very happy will the very minimal vibration of the Hex with no jello effect.

A 2 axis gimbal would be nice, as would a WiFi back and remote for the Gopro, and an app for the iPad, that would give near real time video

Look really good mate.
You cannot run the go pro wireless to watch it through your iPad. The signal interferes with 2.4ghz radio signal.

Hi Lee, I have done a bit of Googling and there is definitely a concern out there using the Gopro WiFi and 2.4 radio gear. I will not take a long time to get the framing of the video right, it's not just worth the risk, thanks for that Lee.

Plus the wifi signal is minimum at best a few short feet away and you will lose the signal!
Gopro quote a 180m's or 600ft in there sales spin, I'll check that out, thanks for the heads up.
