General Vibration in T-Rex 600E

I have assembled my T-Rex 600e to the point where I have the electric motor armed, but have not fitted the rotors. Is it normal to experience a fair bit of vibration when you rev the motor right out? As I understand there should be no vibration when you have fitted the blades and balanced them, but I would have thought there would have been minimal vibration with no blades fitted. Your advice would be much appreciated.

Vibration should be minimal. There will be some simply from the gears being new and needing some time to break in. But if you think it is too much or it is especially noisy, take a look at your main gear/pinion mesh and make sure it is not too tight or too loose.

Also you can check that the main gear is not warped. Spin the head by hand, and look from the side. Is the main gear moving up and down?
If there is excessive wobble, sometimes you can adjust it slightly.
Sometimes they centre screws are not evenly tight, which can cause it to wobble.
My method is to put it face down on a flat surface, like some glass or an cooker top.
Turn it slowly to find the high spot.
Then slightly tighten the screw on the centre plate next to the high spot.
Check again until you have it flat.
Be careful not to over tighten as they only go into plastic and could strip.
