600 Trex 550 E Motor swap

So im doing a motor swap on the 550e
Taking the 600mx 1220KV motor out and putting in A Scorpion hk4025 1100kv made for the 550
Ill be posting up pictures on how the swap is going
I have to do some mods to the frame
Here is what the stock frame and motor looked like

Okay the 600mx is out just got to swap over the plugs and start the frame mod
here is the motors side buy side
And the scorpion motor I bought used seller wasnt clear that it was so scratched up hope its still good

Yes it seems ok I have a new shaft and bearings coming for it
Im almost done with the frame mod the scorpion motor is bigger around than the 600mx and was hitting the frame

After I got it all done I was looking up some info on the new 550eDFC pro and saw they did almost the same thing to fit that 730mx motor in it
I like the shape mine ended up with .Theirs is just a big whole

Scorpion made this motor just for the 550e but it will not fit in a stock frame with out something like this
So if im not happy with the motor it will still look good with the 600mx back in it . But i dont see that happening
I got my eye on the new version the HK111 4025 1100kv but it pricy

Took it out for the maiden with the new motor
up loading a video of it will post it in the video section
bad thing on the second pack I crashed it doing a back flip to low
