General Trex 450 sport v2

Just got to fly my first cp heli, a Trex 450 Sport V2 that I built. The kit was a fun build, very precise. I put training wheels on it. A good friend test flew and trimmed it. I have hovered 3 packs with it and WOW! what a difference it is to operate something so smooth and stable. No more out of balance fixed pitched for me!!!

It's an amazing thing to have a machine so smooth. I just about hung up the 120sr now that I have been flying my 450. Going to try and get out today.

Could you maybe take a look at "Sterling H"s thread in the 450 section?
He is building the same bird as you, and are having much difficulty with assembling the frame with bearings.
His thread is called "A new Sport".

Well it had to happen sooner or later, got it on its side and took out a main blade, main shaft, feathering shaft, flybar, and main gear. Was about a foot off the groung, side slipping to land on a board because the grass was very wet here in Fl., when I gave a little left rudder I guess I pulled off throttle and caught a skid and went on the right side. Oh well, fly em, fix em, crash em !!

Actually that would be "fly em, crash em, fix em, fly em again" hahaha.

And if you think it's wet there now, you have a big surprise on it's way lol.
