FBL Gyro Trex 250@3gx

I had my trex 250 all put together, the wires(@$#!$!) and gyro installed. Finally got the 2.1 in my computer. I loan my dx8 out, so i put the new model in my DX6 v2. I cannot get it to bind or get any lights to blink. I tore that sucker apart and still nothing. Am i correct in thinking you need a receiver with a 6 channel transmitter.

Yes, if using a 6 channel Tx then you have to use a 'full' receiver because. If you use a sat on the 3GX gyro gain is allocated to channel 7, so gain wont operate from a 6 channel Tx.

This wouldn't stop it binding though. If using a conventional 'full' receiver then you just bind the receiver as per normal Spektrum process, you dont bind the 3GX.
