Trucks Traxxas ez start

I find the ez start system very frustrating on my t-Maxx. I have a poor connection between the wand and the truck to turn the Eng over. I understand it’s a common issue but is there a good work around.

I don’t want to do a pull start, any other suggestions please.

Thanks, that’s a good suggestion. Not to endorse one over the other but I found this one,
