Hey John..... these are pretty good for what you are paying.

Warning ... Do NOt go CHEAP on the Tail servo or the GYRO ... or you will have hours and hours of frustration rather and set up and simply fly it! .... Trust Me :) ... LBE (Qualified) - Learnt By Experience haha

I have got some good links for good second hand gyros and even some new ones.... and a Fantastic deal on a set of Cyclic and Tail servos for an Align Trex 450 (all for $65 bucks ) .... hurry !!! haha

just a question...

Zippy Flightmax 100mAH 3S 35C Lipo Pack Z21003s-35 - I am guessing by hte part number that you are meaning 2100 MAH? ... that should be fine.

I would go for this motor instead -

If you can afford it to save you the frustration ..... hunt down a second hand Align Gyro or Futaba or even a good Curtis youngblood comes up occasionally....

Here is a good Spartan QUARK $75- I ran one of these on my TREX 500

Here is a GP780 Align for $45

You Should Be Able to Pick up this Align DS420 (TAIL DIGITAL SERVO) - for around 15 bucks ... or get the lot for $65

Futaba GY401 - Offer him 30

AND THE DEAL OF THE DAY -

You will also need these tools

Yes spend the money on the tail. God now I sound like tony. This was the one thing I kept herring about while ordering my parts. Spend the money on a good gyro and servo.

Also consider the turnigy batteries. Lots of folks on here claimed they are worth the money.

yep .... there is a huge reason for that.... cause when you start flying .... you are gonna behave like a drunk child trying to to drive a car.... so keeping that image in mind = wwould you rather they drive with good brakes and steering ? or would you rather them drive with perfect steering response and brake ona dime? - Hypothetically of course haha

One thing that always stuck with me when I used to ride road bike (yes I was that nutter doing 280 KPH down the highway) it was drilled into me .... buy the best tires and brakes you can afford as they are the only thing that will help you when you really need them.

Apply this to a heli..... if you get into the Poop...... you want a nice solid, and responsive tail.... it will save you from orientation issues when you are not experienced enough to cope with those control/ mind challenges.

Just my ten cents .... and I wish .... someone had helped me out with that Gem of information.
