I need to replace the props on my TBS Disco and I was wondering what you guys are running. I have a set of 10x3.8 or 4.5 CF props that I was thinking about using. I run Tiger MT2216-11 900Kv motors and I thing I ran these props on my F550 or 450.
I'm running the GEMFAN 10x4.5 Carbon/Nylon
Much stiffer than standard plastic props but a lot cheaper than carbon.
I also have the Graupner 10x5E props. These are better for speed but worse for lift.
Well the 10x4.5 or 5 pitch props I have I ran them on my F550 and they seemed to do pretty good. I have some other plastic props from rctimer but those suckers sure are hard to balance. I'll give the CF props a try and if they don't pan out I'll switch to a set of APC props.
Iam using Birddog 10x5 carbon props from Mongrel gear. A bit exy but lift the Disco without to much effort with all the FPV stuff on there. 9x5 props are just a bit to small for the extra weight.
Yea i saw that they were a little on the pricey side. But I still like the APC 10x4.5, 10x4.7 and 10x5 pitch props. And they will hit me for around 30 bucks for 2 sets shipped.
