General t rex 450

I have decided to get my bird up and flying again but I have hit a problem that I cannot figure out.
I am using s dx6i transmitter with an ar6200 receiver and all seems to be working as should be except the motor doesn't want to start.
I have tried a different new speed controller and a new motor but cannot seem to get power to the motor?.
hopefully someone can help me with this problem.

Have you calibrated the ESC and the DX6i? That's the only thing I can think of. Unless the connections are wrong on the RX. ESC plugs into channel 3.

power up the Tx, then the helicopter, then lower the throttle trim all the way down and see if it initializes.
