700 Starter?

I was wondering. On a starter for a nitro bird. Do you have to buy a heli starter or can you use the part that goes into the heli on a plane starter? I know you can use a drill if you have to. If someone had say a hanger 9 starter, can you take the pastic cone out of it and insert a heli starter rod into it?

That I'm not sure of. I know they sell the starter rod that fits into the cone, Gaba had one and hated it. He purchased his Align starter and never looked back.

Are you looking at getting a nitro 700 size bird?

It'll work.. But like tony said.. Get an align.. Abd get the cone for planes with it.. You can then retire your plane starter too as it'll start helis and planes.

Love the align starter.. One 3s 35c LiPo and your 90 will fire up in one whirl!
