Quad Space 1 One- Formula 220x Racer <<BUILD>>

I was thinking time for a new build...
Found this frame for $34.99 FORMULA 220X RACER not to bad for a full carbon frame
4.5mm uni body bottom plate.
I like it so much I may get 2 more while they are still on sale.

I followed your lead on those BlueSky RC quads. When I went to order a few replacement parts earlier this week, I was shocked to see his website closed down. Sad to see the China-Clones knocked Dave out of the sky.
I am going to take advantage of the 2 for 1 sale and set my flying buddy up with one, ( Minus the FPV).
Please post your other jigsaw pieces for this build. If you can, give a reason for one over the other, like ESC's and motors.

I used a oil Based Marker to color the edge Gives it that little extra cool look LOL
Lime Sharpie Medium Point Oil-Based Marker



TBS Unify Pro 5G8 V2 (SMA) and a Menace RC - Raptor Antenna



I love the size of this VTx it will fit just about anywhere, and it does 13dBm (25mW), 23dBm (200mW), 27dBm (500mW), 29dBm (800mW*) Just pick your output....

Had to jump out 4 pads for my setup Futaba and S-Bus, using S-Bus for the quicker response time

Yeah I hated to see them go to... BlueSky RC that is... I still Have 3- 280 size frames One I still fly

Got a few more build pics....







Added a gift card covered with vinyl to cover my Control board and have a place for my S-Bus Rx to be mounted



The wire sticking out the side is my 5 volt pigtail for my video system



Just put the top plate on to get an Idea how it may look temporarily




All I have to do is wire my Cam and VTx and it will be good to go...
I did do a little hover test, and damn this thing seems to have a hell of a punch out.
Guess it is having a little higher Kv motor (2450Kv) and doing 4s makes a difference.

Thanks.... I think it will turn out looking pretty damn cool.... I have a few more parts laying around, I may just have to build a second one.

I ordered 2 more of those 220x frames today.... I have another RaceFlight Revolt V2 control board wanting to go flying.
Also a set of 4 ReadyMadeRC Blue Series - RMRC2204 2300KV that I have not used yet...

Got started on the second Space 1 One 220x Racer....went with a blue theme on this one. Same Great RaceFlight Revolt FC , BL Heli S esc's along with a few other goodies.

Got my Blue Quad finished... Just need a day off to go flying to see how it does...
Put the new RunCam Mini on this one fits very nice...

Oh yeah I have started using the Pagoda Antennas having pretty good luck with them so far...
I picked up an antenna Jig, thought I would try my hand at making a few...
