Update:
I got the tail gear mounted and super glued all the covering frays. This plane must be old cause it was covered then it looks like it was covered with a clear cover over the colored coating. Anyways, it really is purdy. I also screwed the canopy down. To bad there is no replacement parts for it like a new cowl and stuff. I put it on my kitchen table and took some pic's. I cut the piss out of my thumb and had to super glue it shut.. lol. I learned that you don't have to use a hobby knife to cut your holes, you can use a soldering iron. I also ran into a blind nut that holds the wing on problem. It took me a while to figure out how to get it back in place without cutting a hole in the covering but here is what I finally wound up doing.
I got a piece of nylon cord that was about 200 lb test and dropped it through the blind nut hole in the wing. I fished it out through one of the other holes the slid the blind nut on it with the prongs facing in such a way that I could pull it up tight to the wood. I tied a 1/2" washer to the end so the blind nut wouldn't slip through and the lined it up good with the hole. I took a piece of inch tubing and wrapped the string around the tubing so it wouldn't slip under pressure and snugged the blind nut up to position. I twisted the tubing just tight enough the seat the blind nuts tangs into the wood (being really careful not to crack the wood) so it would not drop back out. Then I took the wing bolt, put a large washer on it and tightened it to put the blind nut back into it's rightful place. I also let a little bit of thin CA run down to the blind nut to glue it in place. Awesome don't have to worry about it falling out again.
So here is whats left to do, I got to glue the ailerons into place, mount the servos, mount the motor, place the esc and mount the receiver. But, I got to wait till the parts get here to do that. Here it is sitting on the table.
