Good evening everyone. I just received my new Spektrum DX6i and AR7200BX and I have a little problem that I could use some help with. I have no pitch/throttle ....ect. settings for this TX/RX & heli. I've been flying a Walkera V450Do1 RTF with 2702 RX & 2801 Pro RX for awhile now and I am ready for something new. The only settings that I have are from my Walkera TX and I don't know if I should start out with these settings from my old radio?

Trv Adj.- " All 100% accept Rudd 120%"

Swashmix-" Elev,Pitt,Aile, all 70%"

DR&Exp - Elev D/R 100% 45%
Aile D/R " "
Rudd D/R " "
Gyro- Gyro/AUX2
0=80%
1=80%
Throttle hold= -15

Throttle curves Nor ST1 ST2
0% 90% 100%
25% " "
50% " "
75% " "
100% " "

Pitch curves Nor ST1 ST2
36% 0% 0%
41% 25% 25%
50% 50% 50%
75% 75% 75%
100% 100% 100%

Also I'm using Align servos & YEP 45 amp esc if that will help. I would appreciate any settings to help me out before I put my bird up in the air. Thanks !!! :)

Congratulations! You will enjoy your new radio & receiver combination.

I have the same system with 2 450s and a 550.

When using the AR7200BX during setup the radio should be reset to all default settings during initial setup. The swash type in the radio should be set to "1 servo 90". Follow the BX manual and set each parameter accordingly and the BX will take command of the servos. You do not want any trim on the radio. In terms of pitch curves and DR/Expo it's personal preference. For a new heli you may want DR at 80 and Expo at 35 for Aileron and Pitch and maybe less expo for the tail. Pitch curves are often recommended at linear (0 to 100) for stunt mode and I have my normal mode curves at 43-46.5-50-75-100. Throttle: Stunt: 100-95-90-95-100 Normal: 0-50-75-100. Once again these are my personal preference. Many run a straight 100 in stunt mode.

The BX manual recommends you set the gyro at F or G which I think is about 60%. Then adjust according to tail wag.

Make sure to program in your servo frequency and pulse length (BX setup B,C,D) before connecting your servos to the receiver or you could damage your servos.

I had to cross reference a few resources to get the system setup but it is well worth it. I am sure others on this forum will help and offer links to the manual (I found the MicroBeast manual easier to use with initial setup of the AR7200BX, attached above) and other setting experiences.

I really enjoy this TX/RX setup. I hope you do as well.
