Servos Servo testing

ok I have a question about being able to run a test on my Align DS510 servos with a Turnigy servo tester.
Well 2 questions really...
Would it be ok to use my 75a Castle esc and a 2s battery to test my servo with the Turnigy servo tester?
Would this cause some sort of damage to my esc?

The generic answer is no but there are some things to consider.

Before hooking the esc to the tester make sure the output voltage does not exceed the input of the tester. The unplug the pack from the esc and hook everything up and test. CC escs have user set output voltages so it is imperative that you check this before starting.

As long as your BEC is set to less than 6V its fine.
Are you using the ESC just because you don't have a battery pack that works with the servo tester?
Any RX pack <6V will work.
This being the simplest.
