Working on my HK 250 and rplaced the tail servo with a hextronik xt 900. Does anyone know what the hertz setting should be for a GA 250 gyro? Can't find any info on this servo.
Start out with 100-150Hz. Test the servo and see if it gets hot. If it does, then go down. If it doesn't and the tail is solid, then leave it. If the tail is not centering or is jumpy, the raise it up. I would not go over 250Hz though.
