This is my Riviera 80 speedboat which I'm shamed to say I purchased over 9 years ago. I got it from a local model shop along with all of the electrics and radio but when I started to assemble it I realised that the motor mount and coupling was the wrong. The guy said he would try and track down the correct parts but in the end came back to me and said he couldn't get them. Totally disillusioned, I put the boat in the spare room and forgot about it.
However, since then my knowledge has grown so I thought it was time to finally complete it and get it out and on the water. I haven't fitted the windscreen yet as it's cheap plastic and I think the boat deserves something a little better so if anybody knows where I can get one please let me know.
On the first outing the esc failed so there's another on order so hopefully I'll post a video of it running soon.
Electrics are: 540 brushed motor, viper 25amp esc and a Spektrum receiver.
