RC newbie saying hello

Hi all,

I'm new to RC. I got into this from the Robotics and Arduino side. Looking at cool ways to control a robot, brought me to heli's and now quads. Really still learning how to fly. Trying to keep the budget low, so looking to build as much myself as I can. Already learned a lot from this site, hoping to learn a lot more.
