General RC-Help trainer rebuilt and ready to fly .......again. LOL

I had to have an abdominal operation and subsequently am off work for several weeks. So I have taken a little time here and there as I feel better and am able to move more to rebuild the crashed Trainer I built. I cut the crunched nose off of it and replaced it by cutting out a new fuselage nose section form the prints. I cut at a 45 degree on all joints and zig zag notched the joint. Glued it together with hot glue and proceeded to rebuild it and give it some bling. Had to replace the motor since it bent the shaft. But everything else is fine.

One thing I noticed AFTER I was done and took top view pics is that the Rear Wing is a little skewed. Not sure how. But I managed to move it a bit. So I gotta figured out how to loosen that up and straighten it a bit. Must of been there the first flight to. Not sure how big and affect it would have. The Rudder is inline pretty good I think. Oh well we'll see.

Now I just need to wait a windless day that won't freeze your ears off in a second or two. It has been Coooooollldd here for a long time this winter.

Here are some pics.

The plane looks great! As for the rear tail, that shouldn't cause too many issues. At hte most, it will make it want to turn to the left when you are pulling up elevator. Can't wait to see it in the air!

I hope you are doing well after your surgery. Take care, rest up, and heal fast.

As for the plane...I love the color scheme! What a great looking plane! I hope you can get some decent flying weather to try this plane out again. Good luck!!!

So the tail will just make it easier for me to do left loops then. Great I like going left, Huge Nascar fan lol. Awesome

It's 18ºF here, actual temp. Not that bad, but I have frozen pipes. Thankfully, my dryer outlet is near my water lines and turning the dryer on is helping. But yes, it's cold!

Nice, I like the colors! 4 degrees this morning, COLD. No flying around here either! Just have to build another plane to pass the time! :)

I decided to get another Helo to pass the time. I ordered a v912 BNF for $42 the other day. So I can play with that. Getting pretty comfortable with the v911 so I want to play with bigger toys. Once step at time.

Nice color combo. With all the leafs you could get some ground practice and use it for a leaf blower. lol
