packing tape, it should. Vinyl, no. If you do it that way, then run white cold cathodes, not blue like i had.

Oh ok thanks, and I have like precovered it with clear packing tape and there are some like things stickin out where if you rush it laying the packing tape down they will show... Not sure if you know what in talking about but will post pictures i you want . If i covered it in colored do you think it will be flat or will it copy the clear packin tape layer?

That looked to be a crease in the tape that you laid down previously. And yes, that will most likely show, Only way to get rid of it is to cut the creases off and lay the other piece nice and flat with no air bubbles. As for the pen bodies, that works pretty well. Be sure to put a Popsicle stick on teh front and back of hte wing so that the rubber bands don't distort the wing as much.

Not a good idea. Once that sandpaper goes through the plastic, it will be met by the adhesive. Once that happens, it will do nothign but make a mess.

OK, decided to upload my build of the RCH V2 Trainer. First picture is the reason I built the RCH Trainer V2. An underpowered hand launch into the wind, coupled with rookie thumbs, took out my SIG Kadet 42.

Thanks Tony. Great plans make great planes.
The only thing I got wrong on this one was putting the inrunner on it. I tried to keep the motor contained within the cowel, but left very little gripping erea for the spinner.
Since then I have modified the motor mount to an external position.

Only other modifications have been putting an extended tab with Birch Ply to the rear of the top wing for more support tucking it in to the fuse.
Besides that, my battery is right up against the firewall and the ESC and Receiver are mounted on the inside right side of the fuse just below the wing.
I have pretty close COG to your theoretical on the print out.
Love this one.

Oh, and some plastic laminated skids for the underbelly and at the tail.
