Misc Play in motor

Should there be any up and down play on a motor shaft or should the bell be snug to the borrom? Mine at about a 1/64+ play. I got my CF props yesterday and was going to try then out and found out that they are not marked right or left hand rotation. So I took a guess and put the props with the outward leading edge on the left side of the prop to be a right hand turn. And the leading edge of the prop on the right side to be the left hand turn props.

They might be labeled with a p for pusher prop.

Not any kind of lettering or numbering at all. I did match each propr with the one that I was replacing and each one looked like the right prop. I did fly pretty nice after installing the Cf props and man are they stiff.

If it flys, it should be right! LOL. I had lots to do today so I'm crossing my fingers that it's some what dry tomorrow!

We are about to get hit in a little while with some really bad storms. And yes I think it fly's quite well

There should be a little play in the motor. If there is not, then it's binding and you will lose power and over heat your motor. Looks like you have it flying quite well!
