600 Packing out canopy any ideas?

Hey all .... I am looking for a solution for my Canomod Canopy .... it is hitting my Auto Gear on the heli and I want ot find a way to pack it out so it clears the gear.

Anyone had this issue .... how Do I fix it?

sorted it out .... I put a strap under the front to pull the bottom (Under the battery tray) to get the thing to spread out a bit. now have 2 - 4mm canopy to gear clearance

I was gonna say every Kiwi workshop has a 4" disk grinder.

yeah ... I did that to my original canopy ... did not want to do that to the custom Canomod!

Its hard to see in this photo, but i added extension tubes to the canopy stand offs. They are the brass inserts from a broken set of 450 blades. This widens the canopy enough to stop the gears from hitting the canopy.

that is a great idea! I was looking at something like that! but did not think of just adding a tube and a longer bolt!

update...... I took Lees' Suggestion and used an old hollow 3mm ID stainless tube aand cut them down to 10mm eac ..... got 2 x 20mm x 3mm hex screws and it is all in and I have a nice gap
