As long as you stay within the recommended specs for the nitro for your engines, you should be fine. Typical hobby use is about 20%. The type of lubricants it uses ( castor, synthetic etc ) can make some differences but not a lot in that if it's "slicker" the engine will run cooler because there is less friction. Those differences probably only impact professional level hobbyists and not everyday ones. I know my Dad has gotten decades of use out of his and only concerned himself with what the nitro percentage was and the cost... of course that before the synthetics came along, but his engines still lived a really long time.
