Eugh, thats not a nice sight! Looks a bit like my heli after my latest disastor, another failed flight attempt. I did blades, boom, gears skids main shaft and links, proper job, £80! I decided now to wait untill a kind member of a club nearby has time to try it hovering, so the setup can be checked. Good luck with your next fight graham

Actually that canopy could be salvaged for a beat around canopy. Just need some fiberglass sheets, a bit of epoxy and a drill bit for the hole. As for the rest of the canopy, sand down the bad spots and cover with the same fiber glass or tissue and ca. Don't need anything pretty for practice.

Its a shame though.

That's the plan I have started repairs on the canopy I am waiting for new blades The 550 is all ready to go when they arrive

Yeah going to try the 550mm and a set of 100mm tails to match, I hope to be ordering them @ the end of next week.

I've read good reviews of them (the few there are) and they are a really attractive price.

I thought that they would help keep crash costs down abit when I put her in.
