Hi
Shawn here from Canada,
After attempting to fly the "toy" helis I bought a Blade MCX and have been bitten by the bug

I found your site and all the good info here.

I am getting a Phoenix so I can train on cp helis over the winter.

I may have jumped the gun a bit by ordering a Copterx 450 Pro DFC V5 kit, which I thought I would build over the winter.

All the reading I have done here so far, leaves me somewhat confused re the Align vs clone debate etc.

Any comments are appreciated.

Thanks-Shawn

Copter x is a decent brand for a clone. There are still some things that you want to change out though and we will get into that when the time comes.

I have no idea why it moderated your post but I have approved it.

Welcome or rch, post up any question you have. All that we ask is that they are in the correct forums.

Welcome to RCH! I started on a clone myself. In some ways its better and others not so good. Like tony said there will be parts needed to be upgraded to align. Anyhow welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the forum. That 450 CopterX should be fine. They make good clones.

Welcome to RCH, its a great site with lots on helpful people and information. I also am using the Phoenix to practice on during winter and put together a T-rex 500 pro dfc. You should also check out the videos on that RcHelp puts out.
