Need help setting up 450pro dfc with a ar7200bx reciever on a dx8 transmitter

Your helis look to be ok as far as I see.
I can read minds, as far as a heli goes.

If ya can fly these away from a wall, fences, in a small area. Try hovering in a 3x3 size box, and land it, not in a sim,

I had no sim time in my learning years, just lots a dollars

Blades , we had to make our own, weighing, lightining, cog ing.

no gyros to help with a hover.

get it in the air, and high enough, and learn to correct your misstakes

Get moving forward, and ya need no gyro.

The old flyers will tell ya the same thing, kinda mellows out , just ya thinking about letting off the throttle. Stay where ya are and get your headings straight.

Thank you Tony, for the acknowledgment, and quick reply. Wanted to reply back to sooner than this but I needed time to think about how to explain this fix I’m in.
RC-help is great, your awesome, your videos are awesome, and informative. Made my 450Trex build a breeze. Back in October and November my first test spool up went even better than yours did in part 9 First Flight & Final Gyro Setup. Purchased a used DX8 and updated the software online to the 2.06. Using the setting 1 servo normal in the DX8, for my swash type. And 200Hz, reference position, and nor/rev/nor on the beastx. Zero C mix, zero tail curves.
Since then the weather in Michigan has not been the best to fly outside. So I picked up a HeliArtist T-Rex 450 3GX white fiber glass canopy from flying hobby and tried to paint a chrome wind screen on it with the carbon fiber look for the body, didn’t come out bad, the clear coat turned the chrome to silver. Also binding my Blade SR to the DX8 and can hover that in the basement. My son Frankie, who is seven, and myself also fly the tiger jet and Blade MCX2 in the basement. Letting him use my DX6i for the MCX2.
Then one day after spooling up the SR I went to spool up the 450 not realizing the transmitter was in rate instead of HH. She tipped over and cost me main blades and main motor gear. Lesson learned.
Put her back in shape and started setting up the transmitter throttle, pitch, and swash plate <Ail:Elv:pit> values for the rate mode 1 and 2 from spektrum and cooked the pitch servo. Replaced and tried again with the rate values from helifreek and cooked the elevator servo.
Removed the servo arm’s and trying to set it up using servo type 3, 120* with not much luck.
What is the best/safest, or what choices do I have, configuring the parameters in the AR7200BX with what values for the DX8 ?
I’m doing something wrong, the transmitter’s 0-100 or 100-100 values are in place. Expo, pitch curve, tail curve, and mixing are inh. After swash plate servo directions good, teach the cyclic pitch geometry, adjusting the collective pitch range, adjusting the cyclic swash plate limit, and setting the swash plate sensor directions and the pirouette optimization direction, I loosing it when I make my changes to the different rate modes in the transmitter.
Any advice you may have I’d love to hear.

If the servos are frying. You either have some binding somewhere causing them to be over loaded. Or you have the frequency wrong for the servos.
I wasn't clear about some things in the post, but you said earlier you set to 200Hz. Was that the setting for the servos? If the frequency is set too high on the beatsx for your servos they will burn out.

I've thought about lowering the Hz to 50 like the manual suggests.
If you don't know what Hz it is.
Per Align-Spektrum website on servos, list's 2.XX or 1.XX is the same for the DS 415M and the DS 520.
What does it mean exactly by blue / blue flashing? It reads like this.
DS 415M blue 200Hz blue 1520 us blue flashing 333 Hz
DS 520 blue 200 Hz blue 1520 us blue flashing 333 Hz
And the AR7200BX setup menu I selected for B - 200 blue : C - 1520 blue : D - 333 blue flashing.
I've also have the E-RING act in the transmitter.
Lowering the Hz to the factory settings is an option to consider, but I’m still trying to determine whether or not
I can configure to a 3 servo 120* swashplate.

I've been messing with this all day.
How the BEASTX will let me add my high rate servo values I believe is through the
SPMA3030, USB-Interface, on my laptop. Using SPEKTRUM’s, BEASTX-micro settings (3.0.2) program.
Which I still cannot establish communication with it yet. Driver problems, maybe.
What makes me uncomfortable is the transmitter is set up as, 1 servo normal, and the manual
For the AR7200BX wants a, 1 servo 90* mixing, which is not a selection on the DX8.
Furthermore the monitor screen shows the pitch and throttle working together and the aileron by its self.
But that's not what is actually happing on the heli. OH, I have the BEASTX, setup menu step H,
swashplate mixer value at 120*.
This is almost the exact setup I started with the exception of the swashplate mixer value at 90*.
It's 10:30pm here and past my bed time.
She is all lockedtite and back together and ready for a spool up tomorrow, at the park.
Should be 48 to 50 degrees by noon with an 8 to 13 mph wind out of the south.
Hope there are other flyers out there at the park.
I’ll be in touch, with how it goes tomorrow.

Ill watch it again, to make sure I didn't forget anything.
But I'm not using the 3GX.
The gyro and reciever is one unit with the AR7200BX.

On the DX8, 1 servo Normal is the setting you're looking for. Its the same as 1 servo 90º.
Have you got all your servos working in the correct direction in the first place?
I think you must have it all sorted now, if you are going flying it tomorrow.

It's still Cold and Snow outside here in MI.
I've had plenty of time to check and recheck my setup as well as the mechanical operation
of the swashplate.
Also established communication via the lap top to the beastx.
The Updater program worked and is done.
The MicroSetting program may still need some adjustments?
Set the user defined geometry to 1 servo and the phase angle to 120.
The swashplate servo frequency was 200 and reading but C and D were not reading.
Set C at 1520Hz - Tail Servo Center Position Pulse Lenght.
Set D at 333Hz - Tail Servo Frequency.
And they starting reading.
Have not messed with the swashplate mixer, still at zero. Or not set.
Please advise if you think I'm doing something wrong, Hate to burn up another servo.
But if I do, I hope it's on the bench, not in the air, at least I have that going for me.
