Tried the internet and found lots of info but no exploded diagram. About to try to find a YouTube video of someone taking one apart, hopefully.
In the mean time, have any of you taken one apart before? I had to press the shaft to a different position due to a spinner issue, and when I loosened the 2 shaft set screws, and took the 2 halves apart, there was a very thin ring lying on my work towel. I know it goes around the shaft, but can figure out if it goes between the thick "bearing" (metal ring with its own set screw) and the half with the windings or around the shaft between the 2 halves, inside the motor. I think it's the first option but I don't want to be wrong and fire it up with the ring in the wrong place.
I would really appreciate any help anyone could give. I do have an email sent to HorizonHobby's product support but I am stuck and would like a quicker, albeit correct, answer.
