Spektrum Need a little help programming a DX8

I recently added flaps to my Cessna 182. When I change the Wingtype to 2 ailerons 2 flaps, it doesn't let me modify the settings in Switch Select. What am I doing wrong?

Are you using two servos plugged into two different channels on your DX8 for the flaps? Or are you running both servos into a Y harness?

If its not allowing you to set up a switch to a certain channel, it may be that its already assigned to another switch.

I have both the airlerons and flaps through 2 y-harnesses. All Switches are set a INHibit, and the only thing I can set the flap switch to is AUX3 which doesn't work.

If you are running a y-harness for the ailerons to the aileron port and another y-harness for the flaps to the flaps port, then you don't need a "2 Aileron-2 Flaps" wing type. I run this same setup on my Cub and I just have it set on "1 Aileron-1 Flap" because I am using the y harness to bring the two servos into 1 port. Change your wing type to "1 Aileron-1 Flap" and I think you'll have better success.
