450 Motor Timing

I’ve just finished a build and I have everything ready for the maiden flight except I’m in the dark with setting the motor timing. The motor is the 440h 4200kv from horizon running on a 3s. Now horizon hobby has told me that I can run between 0-15° But I am only running a hobbywing 40a platinum v4 so I’m a little concerned about how many amps I’ll be drawing. Any suggestions on where I should start with the motor timing?

Hey there Fastfreddie. I would start out with the default setting first. I think it's 15 degrees but don't quote me. The you can adjust accordingly if the motor is running hot or not.
