450 Motor Spinning Wrong Way On 450 Heli

If it is a brushless motor, just swap any two motor wires and it will reverse the motor direction.

thanks, Tony I have used your 3gx tutorials to set up this 450. They were great. Is there any info about starting to fly, and what you should do?

Flying a RC heli is akin to trying to control a spinning marble on a sheet of glass... very tricky.

It's highly recommended to start training with a good RC heli simulator such as Phoenix or Realflight... the cost of the software will be more than saved with fewer crashes and repairs. If you can also find a local RC club with members that are willing to help, even better. Also please take time to read up on the safety recomendations, requirements and procedures... these may be considered toys but they can do much personal and/or property damage if flown carelessly.

Larkin, What's your previous RC experience?

Like rdsok says, helis are tricky beasts until you get the knack. If you dont have any previous RC experience and no one to help you then it's likely to be quite a frustrating process involving lots of setbacks. Finding an experienced flying buddy is the best advice, a sim is good too.

I agree completely with the above. A good sim is an invaluable tool in this hobby and will save you money in the long run. Phoenix is a really good one with free lifetime upgrades. RealFlight you will have to purchase each version as they come out if you want to upgrade.
